Stability
Faced with the current security emergency, Institut Macaya is working to develop an integrated short-term stabilization strategy to restore minimum security, restore public order and facilitate the resumption of economic and social activities. This immediate response is part of a longer-term vision, which consists of promoting a true national security strategy to guarantee peace and stability. This will notably include the strengthening of local security institutions to better face internal and external threats, in respect of the rule of law. This comprehensive approach aims to establish a climate of confidence conducive to investment, inclusive economic development and sustainable reconstruction of the country.
Geostrategy
Haiti's future also depends on its ability to redefine its relations with its regional and international partners. Institut Macaya is developing a geostrategic repositioning strategy based on mutual interests, economic cooperation and respect for national sovereignty. We will also evaluate opportunities for developing bilateral or regional trade agreements to multiply the country's economic opportunities. Our ambition is to make Haiti a destination of choice for international investment, by capitalizing on opportunities related to reconstruction, its strategic geographical positioning, as well as its tourism, industrial, logistics potential and responsible exploitation of its natural resources. By engaging in structured dialogue with partners such as the United States, the Dominican Republic, CARICOM or other regional blocs, we seek to build a more balanced, respectful and productive partnership framework.
Vision 2050
Institut Macaya promotes a long-term vision based on the strategic exploitation of tomorrow's technologies to address today's challenges and anticipate those of tomorrow. This vision aims to bridge structural gaps in key sectors such as education, public health and agricultural productivity, while preparing the country for sustainable and resilient economic growth. By mobilizing experts, entrepreneurs, institutions and citizens around a common agenda, the Institute seeks to build a Haiti that is free, prosperous, equitable and fully integrated into tomorrow's world.
